Sophia started working at Urban Texture on a whim one day in 2019 when she was only 14 years only when someone called in sick and Laurie asked her to help out. 

Sophia started taking cosmetology last year in grade 10 and is continuing along with the course. She is shy but this job has really help to build her confidence. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get one of her great shampoo and scalp massages. 

Fun Fact: Sophia is super artistic and creative. She is amazing at painting, drawing and baking. Not to mention she can follow along to any of the dance moves on TikTok!
