Wedding day hair is not the day to wing it. We do a trial first, build a real timeline, and coordinate with your color and treatment plan over the months leading up to the event. Whether you want a soft romantic updo, a glamorous Hollywood blowout, or a textured boho braid, we customize the look to your dress, venue, and personality.

Services for Brides and Special Occasions

• Bridal trials. A 60-90 minute session to test 1 to 2 looks before the wedding.
• Wedding day styling. Either in-salon or onsite for the bride and the bridal party.
• Bridesmaid hair. Coordinated styles in the salon or on location.
• Mother of the bride/groom hair. Always.
• Engagement and bridal shower hair. Pre-wedding events count too.
• Galas, anniversaries, milestone birthdays. Any big event we treat like a wedding.
• Headshots, photoshoots, brand photo days. Camera-ready hair you can move and look natural in.

Color & Cut Prep Before the Big Day

Hair has to be in the right place before the styling appointment. We typically recommend:

• 6 to 12 months out: If you're growing length or planning extensions, start now. Full timeline here.
• 3 to 6 months out: Plan color services. Balayage or highlights need a couple of sessions to get right.
• 6 to 8 weeks out: Final color refresh. Add K18 for hair integrity.
• 2 to 4 weeks out: Bridal trial. Final cut. Final treatment. Keratin smoothing if frizz is a concern.
• Day before: Light wash if needed, no styling.
• Wedding day: Styling, no surprises.

What Happens at a Bridal Trial

1. Inspiration review. Bring 5 to 10 photos.
2. Test the headpiece, veil, or hair accessory. Brides often forget this step. We don't.
3. Try 1 to 2 styles based on your dress, venue, and comfort level.
4. Take photos from every angle.
5. Talk through what worked, what to tweak, and any longevity concerns.
6. Lock the timeline for the wedding day.

Pricing

Bridal trials start at $110+. Wedding day styling for the bride starts at $185+. Bridesmaid styling starts at $95+. Onsite travel is priced separately based on location and party size. We confirm a full custom quote at consultation, including any color or treatment services in the prep timeline.

How to Care for Hair Before the Wedding

• Don't try anything new in the 4 weeks before the wedding. No box dye, no new haircut, no new product.
• Sleep on silk to reduce breakage.
• Drink water. Calgary is dry. Hydration shows on camera.
• Use a weekly bond treatment.
• Don't pluck or wax in the week before unless your makeup artist tells you to.

Do you travel onsite?

For weddings, yes. We have a small onsite team that can come to your hotel, venue, or home. Travel and parking are factored into the quote.

How far in advance should I book my wedding?

6 to 12 months out is ideal, especially for summer Saturdays. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but limited.

Can you do extensions for the wedding?

Yes. We usually install temporary clip-ins or longer-term tape-ins or hand-tied wefts 2 to 4 weeks before the date.

What if I want a totally different look from my engagement photos?

Totally fine. We do a full trial so you can experiment. Many brides change their mind between engagement and wedding.

Can my mom or grandma get their hair done with the bridal party?

Yes, please. Multi-generational bridal parties are some of our favorite mornings.
